I've been here a few times, but it's been a while since I last visited since they were undergoing renovations, so this is my first review in a while. I've been trying to call this restaurant before going recently. I've been turned away several times over the phone, but I managed to get in on this day. So, after us, several groups of customers without reservations were turned away. It's on the second floor, so it's not the kind of place you can just pop in, but it's a popular restaurant. Inside there is a counter and one table seat. ■Appetizer Macaroni salad ■Ankai chicken thigh sauce, breast skin wrapped with wasabi, firm and rich in flavor ■Chicken breast with wasabi 250 yen, rare inside and cooked to perfection ■Oyama chicken breast carpaccio 580 yen, moist breast meat with pink capers as a nice accent ■Asparagus wrapped in pork skewers 230 yen ■5-piece course 1050 yen, breast meat wrapped in skin, quail egg, dumplings, white liver, negima ■Freshly fried tofu 380 yen ■Grilled eggplant in soy sauce 400 yen, the broth here is light and delicious ■Neck meat 250 yen ■Thigh meat 180 yen ■Chicken broth nyumen 530 yen The soup is delicious. It's a rich soup, so it would be good for Ramen, but the nyumen is light and good. They also add sudachi citrus to change the taste to a lighter one halfway through and you can eat it all in one go. I ran out of bottles so I ordered a new one. I'd like to come again. Thank you for the meal (*´▽`*)
A shop with many regular customers
I have been here several times. I found out that I could keep a bottle, so I did. The menu is limited during the shortened business hours. This is what I had when I visited before the restrictions. Just for reference. ■Draft beer Asahi Jukusen Premium 550 ■Bottled beer Heartland 650 ■Appetizer mushroom soup It was delicious with lots of mushrooms and a hint of yuzu ■Grilled Tankai Jidori Grilled skewer 350 I chose parts such as thigh, shoulder, breast skin wrap, and skin today. I can't believe I can eat Tankai Jidori with breast skin wrap and yuzu pepper! The richness of the flavor is not inferior to the yuzu pepper. It was hard to find during the menu restrictions. ■Dumplings 250 No binders used, so they're juicy and overflowing with juice ■Thigh bones 180 Sweet meat texture ■ chicken dish 290 Large portions ■Chicken fillet with dried small sardines and Japanese pepper I always order this without thinking - the spiciness of the Japanese pepper is delicious ■Chicken shumai 250 They stuff the meat in after the order is placed It's already seasoned, so add some mustard ■Okra 210 Run by the owner and his wife, most of the customers are regulars. It's on the second floor, so maybe that's why there are more familiar faces than one-timers. Thank you for the meal ヽ(^.^)ノ
東京では数少ない淡海地鶏が食べれるお店
仕事終わり、すこし遅くなったので晩御飯何か食べて帰ろうと思いまして。
武蔵さんにいくも営業しておらず。
すぐ近くのこちらのお店の存在は知ってはいましたが入ったことなく、
せっかくなので行ってみました!
2階にあがるお店は店内が全く見えないので入るまでちょっとドキドキ。
ドアを開けると気さくな感じのお兄さんがおひとり。
お客様がいなかったので「終わっちゃいました?」と聞くと「そろそろ終わりだけど良いですよとのこと」

かつ店主の方から淡海地鶏ご存じですか?と聞かれひとしきり焼き鳥屋さん談義になりました( ´艸`)

これ名前の通りであっさりとした胸肉を皮で巻き表面はこんがりと中はしっとり。

つなぎを全くつかってない粗挽きのつくね。
もはやお肉の塊にもどったかのうような味わい。

全体的に火入れは若干強めですが、素材のうまみを感じます。
この日は焼き物メインで終了したので、ほかの一品料理やスープなども次回注文してみたいと思います。

It's been a while since I last visited Suzunari. I called several times on the day and was turned down because it was fully booked... So I made a reservation in advance.
