晩御飯はイタリアンを。
長旅で汚れきった車の整備をし、
気づけば休日も夕方。
恐縮ですが腹ペコなので、
つなぎ姿のままお伺いさせていただきます。
小ぎれいなイタリアンで、
若干気まずいですが、
腹ペコなので注文していきます。
イタリアンおビールに、
生ハムの盛り合わせと、
サラダに、ビスマルク、
鴨のローストをお願いしました。
店内は満席。
シェフと奥様の2人でやられてるお店らしく、
だいぶてんてこまいです。
我々のテーブルには、
サラダと付け合わせのパンとビールがきてから、
ピタッとお料理が来なくなりました。
生ハムぐらいは来てもいいのかと思いますが来ず、
パンをつまみにチビチビ飲まざるを得ません。
若干、
侘しい感じ。
それに引き換え、
後ろの特定の1テーブルには、
やたら料理が運ばれていきます。
ご常連なのかもしれませんが、
若干、ずるくね。
たしかに、
私は、一見客だし、
汚ねえつなぎ着ちゃってるしで、
しょうがありませんが、
服装で損した感もあります。
見た目って大切かも。
しばらくすると、
手厚いサービスを受けているテーブルの方が、
食事を終えてお会計。
店外へ。
すかさずシェフは外までお見送りにでます。
こっちはハムももらえないのに、
えらい手厚いじゃないと思い、
無粋ながらそちらを見てみると、
あら。
その人、
日本を代表する男性アイドルの方でした。
それはね。
それは手厚いでしょうよ。
汚れたつなぎのせいかと思いましたが、
しっかり人間としての質の違いによる、
サービス格差でした。
純粋に、
人の価値として負た感をまざまざと感じ、
若干シュンとしていますと、
我々の生ハムが到着。
「遅れてごめんなさい」
と、
3種盛りだったのですが、
4種盛りに増やしていただけました。
若干の救い。
気のせいか、
ちょっとしょっぱめに感じますが、
大変飲める生ハムです。
これはワイン。
ワインワイン。
続けざまにやってきたビスマルクさんも、
とてもいいピザっぷり。
ワインが捗ります。
メインの鴨ローストも、
味、焼き具合申し分なく、
とてもメルティ。
おいしく赤ワインをいただけました。
若干、己の人間の価値を思い知る日になりましたが、
最終的には満足しました。
今度の外食はつなぎではなく、
軽く着飾ってお伺いすることからはじめようと、
思った次第でございます。
