世田谷通りにポツンって感じで、まさに街の中華屋。失礼ながら店構えも屋号も店内もパッとしない。
しかしながらここの水餃子は旨い。生姜の香りがほんのりと、柔らかく繊細に包まれたジューシーな具。皮も薄すぎず厚すぎず。店内に貼られた雑誌掲載コピーを読むと、茹でるのはお湯ではなくスープなので、その味が十分に染み込んでいる。
確かに、味はそのままでも結構しっかり付いているので、一緒に出てくるタレをつけないでも、あるいはちょっとつけるくらいがオススメです。
この一品を食せというところです。麺類、飯類の「街メニュー」もまあおいしいですが、正直、水餃子の店でありましょう。
水餃子4点 その他3点で、トータルのお味は「3.5」ということで。
ちなみに、ジョンローンが来店したって言うらしいが、本当かどうかは知りません。
