●6 minutes walk from JR Shinjuku Station East Exit 3 minutes walk from Shinjuku Ward Office intersection. Enter the stone paved sidewalk next to Mister Donuts towards Golden Gai. Turn right at the second corner. It is on your right. Look for the white lantern. ●3 minutes walk from Exit E2 of Shinjuku-Sanchome Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, Fukutoshin Line, and Toei Shinjuku Line. Go up to ground level at Exit E2 and turn left, then turn left into Hanazono Shrine. Enter the grounds, pass through Hanazono Shrine, pass under the stone torii gate and go down the stairs. Turn right on the road in front of the police box, then go into the alley between BON'S and the parking lot, it is on your left. Look for the white lantern. 296 meters from Shinjuku Sanchome. |

すごい煮干しラーメン ¥1,300
新宿ゴールデン街に位置し、夜の街の雰囲気満載の照明の灯いた急な階段を昇った2階
10席ほどでとにかく狭い
店員さんは皆外国の人で、接客丁寧で働き者
「おすすめの作り方でよろしいですか?」と言われたものの、よくわからないのでおすすめで
店員さんも外国人ならお客さんも半分くらいが外国人
注文のやりとりも外国語が飛び交い、いったいココはどこの国?と思わせる
店内は煮干しの匂いプンプン、壁などに「我が煮干しに一片の悔いなし」「20種類以上の産地の違った煮干しを一杯に60g以上使った超濃厚スープ」「魚系が苦手な方はご遠慮ください」などのお言葉
二ボラーではない私はちょっとビビってしまう
しかし、煮干しの匂いはすごいがドロドロではなく、醤油が強くてちょっと塩っぱい
そこに唐辛子の粉が少しかけられピリリとピリ辛
麺は硬めのちぢれ麺と幅広ペラぺラの“いったんも麺”の2種類の食感が味わえ、ちょっとワンタンぽいペラペラ麺の方が私の好み
具材はチャーシューと荒切りのねぎ、姿のままの煮干しとシンプル
スープの味に慣れた頃、卓上の煮干酢を入れるとまろやかに
お水にはレモンが入ってサッパリ口直しもでき、無事に完食
煮干しとディープな雰囲気のすごい!体験でした
