渋谷駅から桜丘方向に歩き、セルリアンタワーの裏手くらいの場所にあるこちらのお店ですが、私は以前から東京都内におけるネパール料理の中ではトップクラスのお店だと思えるのがこちらです。豪徳寺のOLD NEPAL TOKYOさん、巣鴨のプルジャ・ダイニングさんと並ぶ3強かと。
食べログのアジア・エスニック百名店TOKYOにも常連で選ばれていますね。以前は土曜日も営業されていたのですが、現在は平日のみの営業のようです。
平日の11時半、オープン直後に訪問しました。先客が2組3名待っておられましたが、無事に入店。いつも通りの1人ですので、カウンター席に座りました。
だいぶ久し振りの訪問で折角来たこともあるので、ネパールらしいものということを考え、ダルバート チキン＆カシ（山羊肉）を注文しました。あとは付け合わせでサグー（青菜炒め）を。
ダルバートを注文するとランチタイムはチャイかミニウーロン茶が付くらしいので、アイスチャイを頼みました。このチャイも実に美味しいのです。
ダルバートは流石のクオリティでした。カレー、副菜含め全てやはりレベルが高いです。味わいの深さ、旨みやバランスも見事ですね。山羊肉のカレーも臭みなどはほぼ無く、やはりネパール民族の工夫、知恵なども感させてくれるこちらのお店の調理レベルの高さを表していると思いました。
改めて名店であることを実感させていただきました。PayPayで支払えるようになっていてその点も良いですね。
