Opened in March 2014! Enjoy the local specialty, Sauce Katsu Don, at our Karuizawa location! Known locally as "Sauce Katsu Don."
In the local area of Shinshu Komagane, when customers visit or for celebrations, we enjoy unique local dishes, with the most popular being "Sauce Katsu Don." This dish is loved by both adults and chil...dren alike. Nowadays, when asked about Sauce Katsu Don, everyone mentions "Meijitei." Originally, it was a Japanese restaurant specializing in kaiseki and banquet cuisine, featuring a live fish tank. The chefs prepare the Sauce Katsu Don with great care, from sourcing ingredients to meticulous preparation. The tender and flavorful pork loin, sourced from the local Shinshu region, combined with the restaurant's homemade sauce creates an unforgettable taste that you won't want to miss.
