箱根駅伝の観戦前のコーヒーブレイクで立ち寄りました。
お店は改札外の駅ナカにあるカフェ。
焼き立てパンも並ぶ中に、イートイン限定ケーキセット(800円)のモンブランを見つけてオーダーしました。
席からは小田急線のホームが見下ろせて、鉄チャンが喜ぶようなチュエーション。
席の後ろにもだいぶ大きな鉄道模型が飾ってあって、鉄チャンスポットなのかもしれません。
そんな雰囲気でモンブランが乗る皿も紙製だったりでしたが、モンブランのクオリティはナカナカどうしてレベルが高かったです。
正直、そこまでの期待はしていませんでしたが、マロンクリームは栗感がシッカリ出ていて、しかも生クリームが甘すぎずのミルク感感じるフレーバー。
クッキー生地の絶妙な香ばしさと甘さも美味しく、鉄チャンなお店でステキなモンブランに会えると思っても見みせんでした。
モンブランの美味しさを堪能した後のイイキブンで駅伝観戦に臨めました。
これは穴場スポットかも知れません。
