1964年創業、茨城県古河の老舗餃子屋さん「丸満」さん。駅西口から歩き進めると丸満ビルがそびえ立つ。
開店10分後に到着したものの既に満席の2巡目組。
ワタシの後も次々とお客さんが待機しつつ、約20分後に入口側の小さなテーブル席に無事着座。
皆さん、餃子定食やラーメンにプラスして餃子を注文しておりますが、ワタシは瓶ビールと焼き餃子を1人前(8個)、オニオンスライスをオーダー。
餃子タレ用のお皿が2枚支給されるので、醤油＆酢・辣油系と丸満オリジナルダレの２種類を用意して準備万端。
あとはオニスラをアテにビールをチビチビ。血液サラサラな状態で餃子の登場を待つ。
出た！この餃子のビジュアルはヤバい。絶対美味そうなイケメンっぷり。
1秒でも早く食べるべしの教えに従い、先ずは何もつけずにかぶりつく。
当たり前だが熱い。軽く上唇がダメージ。
そんなことよりもこの風味はなんだ？
まさかのシナモン？
苦手な人も少なくないでしょうが、コレは癖になる味わい。
そしてこの食感はなんだ？
表面はカリカリだがモッチモチ。
餃子と言うより、まんじゅうやパンに近い食感。
実に面白い。
餡は野菜たっぷりのサッパリ旨み系。
この後、餃子ダレを少しずつアレンジ。
自分的には辣油多めの醤油にニンニクと塩を少量が一番好み。
皮が厚めなので、一人前8個で大満足。
これはハマる味です。
