憧れの出石皿そば！
宿泊した但東町からは車で15分ほどで出石に行くことができます。
但東町は以前は出石郡だったのですよ。
豊岡市但東町FAMトリップの一日目の昼食は出石で出石皿そばでした。
利用したのは出石のシンボルともいえる明治時代の時計台“辰鼓楼”が目の前にある『湖月堂』
左の建物が『湖月堂』です。
街並みにぴったりマッチした(寒)レトロな建物。
一階はお土産などを販売していて、二階が食事処になっています。
二階に上がる階段にも趣がありますね。
私たちはテーブル席でしたが、カウンターに座ると目の前に“辰鼓楼”が・・・・
見えるのですが、なんと90年に一度の改修工事中でした(＞＜)
90年に一度ですから、狙ってこれるものでもないですよ。
これは再度出石に来なさいと神様に言われているんですね。きっと。はい。
そのぶん、お蕎麦に集中できるというもの。
出石皿そば以外のメニューもあります。
そばが運ばれてくるまで、サービスの権兵衛餅やそばかりんとうを食べて待ちます。
出石藩主仙石家の藩祖、仙石権兵衛秀久公にちなんだ権兵衛餅。
優しい甘さの餡子。

食べ方の説明
わさびや葱、山芋、温泉卵もテーブルに並びます。
早速いただきます。
そばつゆは甘め！
私は好きな味です。
この甘さが出石皿そばの特徴なのかと思ったら、お店によって違うとのことでした。
『湖月堂』は濃くて甘めのそばつゆです。
山芋を入れたり、温泉卵を入れるので、食べ続けていくとそんな濃いとは感じなくなります。
続々とおかわりを持ってきてくれて、気づけば12皿食べていました。
そば湯を飲んで、ほっとひといき。
お皿は時々格言が書いてあります。
お腹いっぱいで大満足で1階に降りて行ったところで、こんな張り紙を発見！
女性は15皿食べたら大食いと認定されて番付表に乗り、記念の木札がいただけるようです。
欲しかったーーーーーー！！
マジで欲しかったーーーーーー！！
あと3皿だったのね。
悔しい(笑)
やはり出石にリベンジで来なければと心に誓いましたよ。
