子連れにも最適な個室居酒屋【再訪】 : Towa No Toki

This is a Japanese-style Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located in Saeki Ward, Hiroshima City, with a calm atmosphere and mainly private rooms. It's a fairly large store, and I went there with my family this time, but there's a kids' room that anyone can use, and there's also a children's menu, so it's a good place to bring children. The food wasn't cheap like chain restaurants, but most of it was delicious and had a homemade feel. However, I had to wait quite a while after ordering... This time we all shared and ate a lot of food, but I would like to briefly write down my impressions.・Cold appetizer pumpkin-flavored spaghetti.・Mochi Tofu Tofu is rich and chewy, almost like cream cheese. It was very delicious.・Creamy Caesar Salad with Prosciutto and Warm Eggs It's exactly what you might imagine from the name of the dish, but it was a different deliciousness than a normal Caesar salad with boiled eggs and bacon.・Beef liver sashimi It may be a limited time menu, but there was liver sashimi. (Of course, it is cooked at a low temperature and is not illegal.) I have only eaten real liver sashimi once a long time ago, so I can't compare it, but even when cooked at a low temperature, it has a raw-like texture.・Salt-grilled amberjack There was a lot of edible part in the amberjack, and since it was amberjack, it had a lot of fat, so it was the most delicious grilled fish. - Baked conger eel pie A conger eel wrapped in a sweet sauce wrapped in a buttery pie crust and baked. Personally, I didn't really like this combination...・Chicken Nanban Chicken nanban with less nanban vinegar than usual. The tartar is rich and delicious.・Soft shell shrimp Tempura shrimp tempura or rather fried chicken. The meat is tightly packed, and the shell is thin, super crispy, and delicious.・French fries taste normal, but are they serving children? Unnecessarily big picture...lol ・Fisherman's Meal Bowl I haven't eaten it, but it looks like there's less sashimi than I thought...(^_^;) ・Honey Toast I haven't eaten this either, but the bread is 1/2 About 2 loaves? I was surprised at how huge it was!・Drinkable tofu strawberry milk Strawberry milk with something that looks like crumbly tofu in it. It wasn't very sweet, but it was full of fruit and was surprisingly delicious. So, I was very satisfied with most of the dishes. For drinks, we had aloe Chuhai (Shochu cocktail), red wine (Magnifique Bis Rouge), potato shochu (Satsuma Mokubiki), and cold sake (Night Emperor). The red wine is medium and dry, and doesn't taste cheap considering the price. Satsuma Mokubiki also has a nice plump sweet potato flavor. This store has a good selection of alcohol. So this store has no complaints about the taste and selection of food and alcohol. I want to repeat it someday (^^)

It's very delicious, but it's best to use less soy sauce. ·fresh! Seafood Salad A salad filled with various types of sashimi. The freshness of the sashimi was also quite good.・Sautéed Kirisato Pork A truly delicious piece of pork with strong umami and sweetness. It's also good to eat it simply with salt.・Soft shell shrimp Tempura This was the most delicious dish this time. The shrimp meat is firm and the shell is super crispy. It's more like fried chicken than Tempura.・Yannyeom Cheese Chicken On the other hand, this was the most weird one this time. The seasoning is not as sweet and salty compared to the Yum Niam chicken from other restaurants, and the cheese is overdone, which makes it disgusting.・Octopus Karaage plump and juicy octopus. The crispy batter has good seasoning and is simply delicious.・Japanese-style mochi pizza pie Puff pastry crust topped with cheese and mochi. It was a simple Japanese-style oil-based pizza, and it was quite delicious.・Beef tendon udon Noodles are thin like Inaniwa udon and filled with juicy beef tendon like oden. The tsuyu is also delicious with the flavor of the beef tendon melting out of it. However, it is quite small.・French fries taste normal, but are they serving children? The unnecessarily big pictures were a nuisance...lol So, I was very satisfied with most of the dishes. In addition to the usual drinks such as lime Chuhai (Shochu cocktail) and kaku highball, we also had the Japanese sake ``Zuikan'' and ``Fukucho.'' Zuikan is dry, but you can feel the rich flavor of the rice and it is delicious. Fukucho also has a light and dry taste. The selection of sake and shochu was quite extensive. So this store has no complaints about the taste and selection of food and alcohol. I want to repeat it someday (^^)

I ate quite a lot of things this time, but if I write my impressions briefly in order from the best to the best... ・ Chicken fillet sashimi It's been a long time since I ate chicken sashimi, so I can't compare it with other restaurants, but it was fresh and delicious with no smell at all. ・ Chewy tofu It was a big hit with thick and chewy tofu like cream cheese. ・ Tori skin gyoza Crispy grilled chicken skin is a bean paste that looks like a juicy bird fish. It's irresistible for chicken skin lovers. ・ Tempura of cream cheese melted in the Tempura overflows from the inside. It was a big hit with my child. ・Chicken Nanban Freshly fried thighs are crispy and juicy. With a sauce that was not too sweet and a rich tartar sauce, it was chicken Nanban without complaint. ・ Tsukune's Miyajima yaki Tsukune baked in a very big shamoji. The taste is ordinary tsukune, but it has (^^) an impactful appearance ・ Fresh Seafood salad Salmon or amberjack? It is a salad with sashimi such as rumbling. The freshness of the sashimi was also quite good. ・Meat rolls Onigiri The meat is freshly baked and the fat is juicy. It was a little crazy to make 〆, but it was delicious. ・Hayashi rice (half) I only tasted the children's rice, but it was a rich roux that satisfied both adults and children. ・Choshu Tori Karaage It is a standard fried chicken, but it was delicious with freshly fried, crispy, and juicy thigh meat. ・ French fries taste normal, but is it a children's service? A useless big picture was in the way on the table w ... So, most of the food was delicious. The only thing that didn't taste good was... (^_^;) ・ Tsubafu Okinawa Soba This was not something that was too salty to eat before it was seasoned. Also, in addition to the usual drinks such as lemon Chuhai (Shochu cocktail) and kaku highball, I had Japan sake "Ume Ichiwa" and "Fukukucho". Both of them were light and dry, and they were quite delicious, but I am not familiar with sake, so that is my impression. However, the selection of Japan sake and shochu was quite substantial. I don't have to wait a long time after ordering food and drinks at this restaurant, but I really have no complaints about the taste and selection. My family and I liked it, so I think I'll probably revisit it (^-^)
