十八楼への日帰り入浴の後で立ち寄りました。
「登り鮎」を求めて行きましたが、目の前に置かれていた「かすていら切り出し」が「食べて」「買って」と訴えてきました。
そう言われては仕方がありませんね。
鮎５つ入り（750円）を１袋、かすていら（500円）を１パック買いました。
帰りの車の中で、鮎を２つ食べました。
中の求肥がうまい。
味だけでなく、食感や口溶けがいいところ。
そして、鮎のボディ（外側の部分）とのマッチングも素晴らしい。
甘すぎず薄味過ぎず、固すぎず軟らかすぎず。
ただ、小ぶりです。
だから１匹では足りなかったんだな……。
翌日「かすていら」を食べました。
カステラらしい色合いですが、黄色の色味が濃い感じでおいしそう。
食べてみると、２日目にもかかわらずしっとり感があっておいしい。
底面のザラメの存在感が強いけれども、それに負けない味の濃さと香りがいい感じです。
そしてスカスカではない（詰まった感じがする）食感。
おいしい！
「切り出し」ですが、もちろん味は変わりません。
むしろ食べやすい大きさにわざわざ切ってもらったと思えば、本来お値打ち品のハズが贅沢感すら感じられます。
「かすていら」の賞味期限はすぐですが「登り鮎」は購入後１週間はもつので、あとの３匹はゆっくり楽しみます。
