A restaurant with many Kyushu dishes. It's a private room, so it's easy to relax. The menu is full of Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot), karashi renkon, tonkotsu Ramen, horse sashimi, Nagasaki champon, satsumaage, and mentaiko. Appetizer (324 yen): Smoked chicken chicken dish. It was my first time eating it, but it was delicious. It would be even more delicious without the coriander. Sakurajima Volcano Butayama Hot pot (2980 yen for 2 people): A towering hot pot that resembles Sakurajima. It's very impressive. The pork is rolled up to create the shape, and the inside is filled with bean sprouts and cabbage. If you simmer it slowly, the pork fat and the sweetness of the vegetables make it a great hot pot. Karashi renkon (734 yen): This is what Kyushu is all about. The texture is a little weaker than the one I had in Kumamoto, but it's not too spicy and easy to eat. Even after eating a lot, the flavor of the coriander lingers in my mouth... if it wasn't for this, I wouldn't have any complaints.
