ChefThe taste of Yajuhachi eel is created by craftsmanship and secret sauce.
One of the secrets to the deliciousness of Yajuhachi's eel is the charcoal used for grilling it. It is said that the juice and sauce from the eel that falls on the charcoal becomes steam again and clings to the eel meat as a fragrance, giving it a delicious flavor that can only be produced over charcoal. The sum of the craftsmanship from preparation to grilling and the secret sauce that has been used for 100 years is the 88.

Our store is located in a renovated building that was a bank during the Taisho era. This room is a quaint private room that was originally a bank vault. Enjoy a banquet in a vault with lots of money stored away. Additionally, this room is decorated with a painting by Ryohei Yanagihara, who designed Suntory's Toris character. You can also view pictures that have been endorsed by the teacher.

This is a masterpiece that has been awarded number one for 12 years in a row and has been inducted into the Hall of Fame in the Japan Prestigious Sake Association's ``Sake that goes well with eel chosen by professionals'', where judges test the compatibility of alcohol with kabayaki at room temperature. It has an exquisite balance of soft acidity that envelops you and elegant flavor that melts in your mouth.
