Founded in 1898. There used to be a restaurant in Tsuchiura called Nisshinro. The first proprietress was the daughter of Nisshinro. After seeing the beautiful moon reflected in Lake Kasumigaura, the landlady opened ``Kagetsuro,'' which represents the ``moon'' in contrast to the ``sun'' in ``Nissinro.'' The history of our store began from there. People like Heihachiro Togo and Isoroku Yamamoto patronized our store. Please enjoy authentic Kaiseki cuisine to your heart's content at this historic restaurant, which has inherited the spirit of hospitality that has remained unchanged for more than a century.
