佐賀駅南口から徒歩3分程度の場所にある地元で人気の海鮮居酒屋。今回は、上司と1泊2日での佐賀出張ということで、1日目は羽田空港から福岡空港に到着すると、ランチも食べずにそのまま地下鉄とJRを乗り継いで唐津市へと向かうハードスケジュール。予定していた面談を無事終えると、すぐさま本日の宿泊地である佐賀市にJRで向かう。夕方、ビジネスホテルにチェックインし、部屋で暫らく休憩をしてから、上司と夕食を取るために向かったのが、事前に食べログでピックアップしておいた当店。お店の前に着いたのは18時15分頃であったが、既に店内にはそこそこ先客が入っている。2名である旨を伝えると、厨房の前にある細長いテーブル席に案内された。
好きな飲みもので乾杯をしてから、レギュラーメニューからは、お刺身五点盛り合わせ(一人前:1780円)、なすの揚げ出し(640円)、ポテトサラダ(450円)、おすすめメニューからは有明産エツゴ唐揚(750円)を注文。お通しのもずく酢を食べていると、有明産エツゴ唐揚が最初に登場。エツは有明海にしかいないカタクチイワシの一種で、そのエツの子供を唐揚げにしたもの。身自体は淡白だが唐揚げにすると美味しい。期待のお刺身五点盛り合わせは、細長い下駄の上に乗せられて登場。唐津Qサバ、ヤナギダコ、ヤリイカ、本マグロ、イサキ、ハガツオ、カンパチといった構成で、薬味には酢味噌、モミジおろし・刻みネギ、塩、山葵を用意されている。唐津Qサバは、唐津市と九州大学の共同研究で誕生した完全養殖のマサバで、アニサキスのリスクが低いので安心して食べられる。どれも美味しかったが、特に本マグロは熟成させた感じで本当に美味しかった。
その後、サバの塩焼き(850円)、旬魚のごま和え(850円)を追加注文。旬魚のごま和えは、ヤリイカ、カンパチ、マダイといった構成。本日はランチを食べていなかったので、追加注文したご飯の上に乗せて丼物に。これにサバの塩焼きも加わって、至福の一時を楽しみお腹一杯。上司はお酒を結構飲んでいたが、お勘定は一人当たり5千円ということでコストパフォーマンスも高い。佐賀駅の近くに宿泊される際には是非どうぞ。
