ニシタチ(西橘通)に小さなカウンターでご夫婦が頑張って営むホルモン焼専門店。
近所にはつぼやホルモン、第三つぼやという店もあるが、好みで使い分ければ良いかと。
もう30年以上になる店はホルモンの煙にも燻されて年季が入っていて、店内の雰囲気も良い味だしている。
カウンターに均等間隔で埋め込まれた七輪で焼いていくのだが、大阪のお好み焼同様に自分で焼く必要はない(自分で焼いてもお咎めを受けるわけではないのだけどね)
ホルモン類は9種。
牛はカルビ(900)ミノ(600)、豚がホルモン・塩ホルモン・タン・コブクロ・ハツ・レバー、あと鳥もつ。
ほとんど350〜500円と県内ホルモン焼同様の価格帯。
基本的にはホルモン(シマチョウを綺麗に掃除したもの)でいいすよ。甘すぎない付けダレもうまい。
少し酸味のあるキムチをつまみながらビールを飲めば女将さんが仕事しながらササっと焼いてくれる。
ご夫婦かと思いきや兄妹で営んでいるとのことだが、いつ訪ねても宮崎の人らしい人情も肴に焼酎が進むんよね。
居心地はいいのだけど、何せ10席程度の店ゆえ長っ尻は無粋だ。
ホルモンの油煙を身に纏ってニシタチ行脚に繰り出そう。

希少部位も味わえた。あれこれ聞いてみるべきだね、どれも余り物というわけではないのでネタの鮮度は申し分ない。
