宮古で昼食です。この街は初めて。お寿司屋さんは駅から歩いて5分ほどの街中にあります。旅行客は自分だけでした。
予約していたカウンターに座ってまわりを見まわすと醤油のお皿に目が止まりました。明らかに凝った作りの手捻り。さすが40年の老舗の貫禄。
老齢のご主人に特上を握っていただきました。これ一気に出てきます。順にひとつひとつ味わいながら食べます。
稚鯛、まぐろ、ほたて、とろ、ぼたん海老、あわび、うに、いくら、玉子、穴子、いくらきゅうり巻。ボリュームあります。
地物の魚が多くて、一切れが大きい印象です。ベスト3はあわび、稚鯛、穴子でした。特に印象に残ったのはあわび。甘みがあって柔らかい。目の前で動いてるのを出してもらったので味は抜群でした。
お汁はエビの出汁がしっかり出ていて美味しかったです。
最後にデザート。生のチーズケーキとブドウ。美味しいけどブドウは種無しの方がいいと思う。
陸中の魚を堪能しました。ご主人の話によると秋から冬にかけてがネタが一番充実するとのこと。
とても良いお店だと思います。また来ますね。
