2022.10.29 高野山・龍神温泉・白浜3人旅③
標高1000m、紅葉が始まった高野山の入口「大門」
に10時半に到着し「金剛峯寺」→「壇上伽藍」と
観光して高野山宿坊「一乗院」に向かいました〜♪
この日のランチは11時半からの『精進料理』を予約
していて、高野山下に居を構える和歌山のマイレビ
さんも合流して今年5月末に天下茶屋の大衆寿司屋
「越中屋」で飲み食いして以来の4人が揃いました。
手作りにこだわった本物の精進料理がいただけると
関西屈指の人気の「一乗院」さんには7年前に伺い
"夏の特別御膳" 11000円をランチで食べました。
表門から一乗院の中に入り、玄関で靴を脱いで
準備が整うまで二の間(談話室)で待機します。
その間に上段の間や中庭を散策すると、絢爛豪華な
襖絵や掛軸・屏風に目が奪われます。
準備が整って奥の個室に案内されると、松茸の凄く
いい香りが厨房から漂ってきました。
期待に胸弾ませながら、いただいたのは

広い座敷に1人に3つのお膳が並び、料理が次から
次にと運ばれてきて、いただきま〜す (^o^)/
盛り付けが細かく丁寧で使われたお皿も素晴らしく
見た目も味も満足ですが、料理がどんどん出てくる
ので温かい椀物や揚げ物などが食べる前に冷めて
しまうのが勿体無かった気がしました。
あれほどいい匂いが充満していた松茸は残念ながら
出てきませんでした。
多分このコースの上の13000円する "特別御膳" で
出されたのでしょうね(汗)
それでも贅を尽くし工夫を凝らした精進料理の
御馳走を堪能できて大満足です。
また、畳の部屋で座布団に座って赤い御膳に並ぶ
料理をいただくというかつての和の伝統ある様式も
経験できて良かったです。
