季節はもうすぐ桜の季節を迎えようとしているが、時系列のレビューは遅れれに遅れ今回のレビューでやっと9月の報告が終わる予定です。
そして、私にしては珍しく3日連続で外食をし3日目の夜は足立区北千住にある「市場食堂・さかなや」さん。
場所は北千住の駅からはかなり遠く徒歩15~18分ぐらいはあろうかという立地条件に恵まれない場所にありながら昼も夜も大変混雑する繁盛店である。
特にランチタイムは大変な賑わいなようで一番人気は海鮮丼だそうだが、私は夜の時間帯しか訪問した事が無く今回も夜の食事のレビューです。
お店に到着すると店内は満席、私達は予め予約をしていたので予約席に座りメニューを眺めながら、日本酒と料理数点をオーダーし美味しい宴の始まりです。
最初に女性陣が日本酒・山形の十四代を注文し私は下戸なのとドライバーなので冷たい緑茶を注文する。
まずはドリンクで乾杯し、配膳されたお通しに箸を付ける。お通しは3点盛り(ウマキ・生湯葉・バンバンジーのサラダ)でどれも手の込んだ一品で美味しい。
そして、刺身の盛り合わせ(3人分)が運ばれてくる。刺身の内容は本マグロのトロ・赤身・〆サバ・シマアジ・アイナメ・戻りカツオ・平目・小柱・本ズワイガニ・甘エビ・北寄貝・ミル貝・バイ貝の13種類。
流石、足立市場の仲卸「隆一」の直営店だけありどれも新鮮で美味しい。特に貝類はどれも甘味があり美味しかった。
続いて、カワハギのお造りが配膳される。こちらも肝が甘くて美味しく癖になるお味、刺身が食べ終わる頃女性陣は二杯目のお酒山口の獺祭をオーダーする。
女性陣曰く、十四代に比べると獺祭はサラサラしていてコクが弱いと評論していた。
料理はまだまだ続き、揚げ物の鱧の天ぷら・さつま揚げと配膳され箸を付ける。特に鱧の天ぷらはほくほくして美味しく女性陣に大人気、さつま揚げもあっという間に完食する。
そして、大アサリの酒蒸しと玉子焼きが出来上がり配膳される。
あさりは大きく食べ応えがあり美味しく玉子焼きも甘さ控えめでなかなか美味しく甘い玉子焼きが苦手な私でも結構いただける。
最後の〆は女性陣は避け茶漬け、私はランチで人気の海鮮丼をいただいた。
小食の方なら海鮮丼だけでも十分なボリュームと充実した内容でランチタイムが人気があるのも納得できる。
