南千住の橋場。
台東区清川・日本堤・橋場は、昔から通称「山谷」と呼ばれる地域。
所謂、ドヤ街である。
最近は、外国人観光客が宿を利用する街として、イメージも良くなって来てはいる。
そんな街に、昔から行きつけの割烹屋さんがある。
店の名前は山海。
南千住駅から歩くと、結構な距離があり、タクシーを利用する事が多い。
目印は、セブンイレブンかミニストップ。
細い路地を入ると、立派な店構えの割烹屋が目に入る。
店内は落ち着いたカウンター席と、お座敷。
この店は、酒場ではなく割烹。
和食の美と美味しさを追求した料理を楽しめる。
メニューの種類が豊富。
やはり鮮度が良くて、美味しい魚介がお勧めだが、牛肉の網焼きを初めとした肉料理も楽しめる。
河豚、鰻まであるので、和食のいろいろを一つの店で楽しめるのがいい。
盛り付けも美しく、「大将は和食の美を追求しているのか」と常々考えています。
値段も、この手の店としては安いと言えると思うし、お勧めの店って事は確かです。
場所は不便なので、電話して予め予約して行った方がいいですね。

・岩牡蠣(お値段は1個850円)
お値段もそこそこではあるが、これだけ大きくて美味しい岩牡蠣は、この店以外では食べれません。
・くりから焼き(お値段は430円)
・活つぶ貝(お値段は890円)
肝付きでした。
・牛肉の網焼き(お値段は1,450円)
・たたき胡瓜梅胡麻和え(お値段は500円)
