盆休明け直後と時化の影響で未だ魚が揃わぬ中、一人の客の我儘に応え昼の時間から仕込の傍ら店を開け迎え入れてくださった『浅草 高勢』二代目店主の『紺野勝利』さん、本当に魚が無くて、、、と申し訳ないと何度も話されておられましたが最大限のおもてなしをしてくださっただけでも恐縮至極、与太の昼酒に付き合っていただき、また徳利一杯に注がれ供された日本酒はいづれも開栓口開けのものであり尚且つ表面張力を使ったサーヴィス振りに感無量。墨烏賊の子供であり今の時期にしか口にすることの出来ぬ『新烏賊』に本鮪のトロの『はがし』に口の中の脂切りに『小鰭』。朝締めで未だ身が活かっている『真鯛』の腹身に今年初めて口にした『新 秋刀魚』、『鮎』の時雨煮に日本三大珍味の『海鼠腸』は大和芋のすりおろしと共に、そして朝締めの『真鯛』の兜焼に『焼蛤』で『鶴齢』、『冽』等の日本酒を都合 三合愉しませていただいた後に『小鰭』、『赤貝』、『新烏賊』、脂ののりが半端ない『真鰯』に『車海老』に『真鯛』の腹身の軍艦、『穴子』に山葵をたっぷり効かせた『干瓢巻』に『しじみ』の味噌椀を腹に収め多くの政財界人を魅了しつづけた名店『高勢』の昔話と系譜店のその後に花を咲かせた二時間半余、こんなにも呑んで食べて諭吉さん一枚とは良心的過ぎます。とても楽しく贅沢な時間を与えてくださり感謝申し上げます。
