大分の地のネタを楽しませてくれる大海寿司。
2回目の訪問では、無理を言って1万円のコースを組み立てて頂いた。
通常はやっていないのだろうけど、特別にお酒も持ち込みで。
カウンターにずらりと並んだ食べワゴンツアーの面々。
期待に胸がEカップに膨らみます♪

関サバと地ダコは前回もいただいたけど、やはり地のものはうまい!
先ほどおろしたばかりという関サバのコリッとした食感、軽く湯がいただけのほぼレアな地ダコもたまらない。
たっぷりの身の厚いふぐ刺しまで出てきてテンションアップ♪
自家製のだいだい入りポン酢は山田屋よりうまいんでないか?
しかもふぐの腸にネギを入れていただくというオリジナリティも驚きだった。
ぐんぐん酒が進じゃないか。そして握りへ。

地のものを中心にお願いしたけど、この日もタコやサバ、ふぐなど大分の地のもののオンパレード。うまい!
ヒラメやシメサバの昆布使いは素材を引き立てておりなかなか面白い。
穴子や雲丹も安定感のある美味しさ。
今回のふぐ握りは煮こごりを乗せるという新たなスタイル。
みずみずしさを感じる面白いお寿司だけど、これは評価が分かれるところかも。
〆のお椀はなんとふぐの赤出汁、贅沢だわ♪
大将と奥様の人柄の良さで楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来た。
東京や大阪の高級寿司に慣れてる輩をこういう地方ならではの寿司の良店に連れて行くのは実は緊張するのだけど、
期待以上の満足感を得られて良かった。
スコアも前回よりアップ(3.7⇒3.9)。
別府食べワゴンツアーの2日目の夜のいいスタートを切れたな。

大分で寿司を楽しむとしたら、
春の城下カレイか、秋〜冬の関アジ関サバだろう。
別府駅から5分ほどのところにある大海寿司。
レビュー数は少ないものの、danchuのムックなどにも出ていて
前から気になっていたお店。
シルバーウイークのタイミングでひとりで訪問した。
大将のお人柄もよく、ひとりで行ってもリラックできる。
ちょっとつまんで握る感じ、おまかせで地のもの中心にとお願いした。

身の厚い関サバはやはり圧巻の美味しさ。
獲れたばかりということでコリコリ感もあるが、
やはり飛び切りうまい。
地ダコも赤貝もさすがに新鮮。
赤貝の肝をいただいたのは初めてだけど、
そうとう新鮮でないといただけないものなのだろう。

お寿司はお任せといいつつも、
いくつか出てきたら後はアラカルトに近い感じ。
ふぐや海老を追加してみたけども、やはり大分の地のものはうまい。
とろけるような穴子もなかなかいいが、レアに湯通した海老はかなりうまかった。
最後のあら汁、これもかなりうまかった。
お酒は瓶ビールと冷酒を1合。
お会計は15000円弱というところ。
こちらではやはり大分の旬の地のものを中心にいただくのが正解だろう。
これからの季節はふぐや関アジ関サバあたりを中心に、タコや赤貝もいれるという感じの構成がよさそう。
