新潟駅から徒歩7分の「アパホテル&リゾート〈新潟駅前大通〉」1Fにあるお店です。
こちらのホテルの朝食会場としては「魚沼さんちのおすそわけ」と「廣新米穀」があり、どちらにしようか迷ったのですが、今回はこちらを選んでみました。どちらも和洋ブッフェで、内容は多少違うようです。
こちらの特徴としては、店内で精米した炊き立ての魚沼産「コシヒカリ」と新潟県産品を使用した40品目以上の和食&洋食ビュッフェ。6時半から30分毎に、釜で炊立ての魚沼産コシヒカリを提供。この魚沼産コシヒカリを美味しく食べて頂ける様に新潟名物のごはんのお供を多彩に用意。とのことでした。
前売り1,600円(税込)/当日1,800円(税込)の料金で、私たちは当日の朝フロントで現金でチケットを買う方法で土曜の朝食で利用しました。
消毒と検温をして手袋をしてブッフェ利用。テーブルは番号を書いた札を渡してくれるので、その指定のテーブルに着席します。退席する時には札を店員さんにお渡しする仕組みなので、テーブル確保の焦りがなくて助かります。店内は和風で、窓がないので朝でも照明は、やや暗めに感じました。明るい雰囲気が好きであれば「魚沼さんちのおすそわけ」を選ぶといいかもしれません。
釜で炊立てのご飯と共に、色々いただきました。当日あったのは、甘えびのお刺身、タレかつ、栃尾油揚げ、炒り豆腐、きんぴらゴボウ、カレービーフン、ふき山椒、新潟流黒ばらのりの味噌汁。
魚沼名物きりざい、しゃけ、神楽南蛮味噌、山菜水煮、ザーサイ、梅干し、納豆、生食玉子、刻みのり、あられ、ごま。
ナポリタン、焼き鯖、ハーブチキン、あらびきソーセージ、ベーコン、鱈ナゲット、サラダ、シリアル、ミニ食パン、胚芽ロール、バゲットなどなど。
この日は、このあと昼食を食べに行く予定もありましたので、ご飯は一膳、おかずもそこそこの量にとどめておきましたが、昼食を抜きにするつもりでゆっくり食べるのもいいかもしれません。
今回特に気に入ったのが、釜で炊立てご飯、魚沼名物きりざい、神楽南蛮味噌、新潟流黒ばらのりの味噌汁にカンズリ添え、の辺りでした。
金曜泊の土曜朝利用でしたので、混み合うこともなく快適にいただけましたが、翌朝、ホテル外へ朝食を食べに出かけようとしたところでは、朝食会場帰りのお客さんが上りエレベーター待ち行列がすごかったです。たまたま土曜の朝は小雨が降っていて外に出るのが面倒だったのでこちらを利用したのですが、そこまで混むと思っていなかったので、土曜利用でラッキーでした。
