2016年3月 店内でいただいたものについて紹介
ひつまぶし(税別\2,800)
細かく刻んだ鰻をご飯にまぶして食べるひつまぶし。薬味(針海苔、わさび、
ネギ)、きも吸、香の物(しば漬け、白菜の浅漬け)、お出汁がセットになって
いる。江戸焼き仕立ての鰻は厚みがなく、ふっくら~という食感ではなく。硬く
はないけど、ここ最近いただいた鰻の中では厚みも脂も控えめかな?タレは想像
よりもだいぶあっさりタイプ。イメージしていた甘塩っぱい味とは違い、醤油の
さっぱりとした風味で楽しむタイプ。個人的には、もう少し甘味のあるタレの
ほうが好みだけど(ご飯もススムし♪)。タレの味の主張が弱いので、焼かれた
鰻の香ばしい風味のほうが際立っていたかな。とりあえず、粉山椒をかけたり、
薬味と一緒に味わったり、最後はお出汁と一緒に鰻茶漬けで〆ることに。お出汁
ときも吸の味はほぼ一緒に感じたかも。香の物は普通に美味。まあ、トータル
ではこんなものなのかなぁ…と思ったけど、眺望も料理のうちと思えば満足!
鰻丼≪竹≫(税別\2,600)
夫がオーダーした鰻丼。松・竹・梅とあって、真ん中の“竹”をチョイス。私の
中では松が一番高価なものという認識があったけど、こちらのお店では“梅”が
一番高価。また、鰻重はお重にご飯と鰻を重ねたものではなく、こちらのお店
では鰻の蒲焼とご飯を分けて出されるというのにも驚きだったかな(某牛丼
チェーン店の牛皿定食みたいな感じ)。鰻丼はきも吸、香の物がセットという
ことで、内容は↑のひつまぶしとほぼ一緒なため、こちらは味見せず。やはり、
鰻は厚みがなく、タレは甘味控えめに感じたという夫。量は腹八分目とのこと。
月桂冠≪京の泉≫(税別\1,000)
辛口の吟醸酒。量は300ml。口あたりがよく、すっきりとしたのど越し。辛口
だけど、想像していたほどではなく。澄み切った味わいで、鰻との相性も◎。
