今日は相模大野駅で天ぷらを頂くことにした。この界隈では唯一とも言える天ぷら屋さんだ。昔はもっと天ぷら屋さんが多かった気がする。特に横浜の街は天ぷらの名店が数多くあったのだが今では2軒しか残っていない。でもたきや、成生、くすのき、にい留、元吉など昔はなかったタイプの天ぷら屋が登場しこれからはお寿司に変り天ぷらの時代だと言う人もいる。
天ぷらのコースは2600円から6800円、5000円のコースをお願いした

ごま油中心だと思うが具体的に何を使っているかは聞いていないが油の質は悪くない。温度高めでかりっと揚がっており、やや厚めの衣だが油切れはいい。
海老の頭は私の大好物、これが食べられるのがうれしい。カレー塩があるのもいいところ、カレー塩発祥のよこたに居る気分になれる。私は天つゆよりも塩派、この日は6割はカレー塩で頂いた。
2600円だとどんな天ぷらでまとめるのかきになるが、5000円だと、値段以上の感じにまとまっている。標準的な具材だが、質的にはいいものを揃えている。
お酒は一の蔵おと菊水をいただいた。種類は少ないものの獺祭が置いてあるのはポイントが高い
