We are well aware that mapo tofu is a typical Chinese Cuisine that is popular among Japanese people. Because it is such a classic, we want to offer the best taste at a reasonable price. With this in mind, our original stone-grilled mapo tofu was born. Chefs who have trained at our restaurant and gone independent have also gained reputation for their Choten Stone Grilled Mapo Tofu. Nowadays, there are many shops that imitate it, but the original one is the most delicious. Please try the authentic Choten Stone Grilled Mapo Tofu.

Spices are first-class products that are difficult to obtain even in China. Chen Family's private spices do not use any additives and are made using natural methods. It was really difficult to get this spice, so I did some research locally and visited the place over and over again, but somehow I was able to purchase it. Using these spices, owner Chen created it through years of research. Every Sunday, I hide inside restaurant and make it. This is a special recipe that no one except the owner, Chen, knows how to make.
