Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1975. After graduating from a culinary school, he joined Hotel Okura. After learning the basics of French cuisine for five years, he moved to a fusion restaurant that combined Italian and French cuisine. There, he was shocked by the pasta made by the Italian chef and decided to go to Italy. He spent six years honing his skills in Tuscany, mastering authentic techniques before returning to Japan. In 2009, he achieved independence by opening "Antica Osteria Baccio."
