ChefYoshiteru Ikegawa - A Craftsman Who Upholds His Aspirations with Unyielding Spirit
Born in 1972, from Tokyo. Although he admired yakitori chefs in his teens, he first worked as a salaryman with the desire to become a yakitori chef who could understand the feelings of customers. At the age of 28, he became an apprentice to the renowned yakitori chef Yoshito Inomata, where he honed his skills for seven years. In 2007, he became independent and opened "Torishiki" in Meguro. In 2011, he was awarded one Michelin star, which he has maintained to this day.
