～～『元祖の所以』　ＨＰより～～
創業は昭和２０年。
昭和２３年に現在の場所で和菓子店『黒柳』を開業。
開業当時は、時代劇の全盛期で伊豆長岡にも撮影隊がよく来ていて、その定宿となっていたのが、白石館という旅館でした。（その旅館は現在はもうありません。）
その白石館にお茶菓子として出していたのが、初代が作るおまんじゅうで、出演していた俳優さんたちに「おいしい｣と好評で、お店を訪れる方も多かったと言います。
当時は戦後間もない時代で、砂糖が統制物資だったので、ほと んどのお菓子屋さんでは、ズルチン、サッカリンなどの化学調味料を砂糖の代用として使っていたのですが、当店では、手に入りにくかった砂糖を使っておまんじゅうを作っていたので、本物の味が楽しめ、｢おいしい｣という評判が口コミで伝えられあちこちの旅館やホテルでお茶うけにほしいという依頼があり、人を増やしておまんじゅうを作りました。
そのうちお土産に欲しいという方も多く、｢温泉まんじゅう｣という名をつけて箱に詰め、売るようになりました。
中伊豆温泉郷で一番最初に｢温泉まんじゅう｣をお土産として売り始めたのが当店で、それが｢元祖の所以｣です。
