We would like the general public to enjoy Omi beef, which is said to be one of Japan's three major Wagyu beef, to their heart's content at a more reasonable price, and we also want them to see the history of Omihachiman, where the townhouses where merchants grew up still remain. This store has opened. Our restaurant basically uses Omi vegetables and Omi rice as ingredients for cooking. In addition, the gozen (set meal) comes with side dishes (red konnyaku and clove gluten) and soup (homemade, unchanged since we opened) as standard.

The restaurant has 4 open tables on the 1st floor and a tatami room in the back (5 tables for 4 people) on the 1st floor. There are also four private rooms on the second floor. For elderly people with bad knees, we have changed the 5 tables in the back parlor on the 1st floor and 2 tables on the 2nd floor to table seats. There is also a low table in a private room on the second floor for small children. The entire building can accommodate approximately 60 people. In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection, we are enforcing social distancing.

Our chef, Takayuki Murakami, has been interested in cooking since childhood, and after graduating from high school, he entered Tsuji Culinary School. After graduating, he moved between Japanese-style meal and Western Cuisine, exploring the flavors of dashi soup and demi-glace sauce. He says that the experience he gained through this pursuit is reflected in the soup stock for Sukiyaki and the demi-glace sauce for Hamburg! Even when the restaurant is crowded and customers are inundated with orders, the food is cooked at their own pace and in a calm and careful manner. This is the spirit of his "hospitality".
