門前茶屋かたたやは「十割そば」のお店として生まれ変わりました。
天保2年(1831年)築の「堅田屋」は築190年を迎える令和3年(2021年)に十割そばの店として再スタートしました。 石臼挽きのそば粉を使用した自家製麺で打ちたて、茹でたての十割そばをお楽しみいただけます。 歌川国芳の浮世絵「木曽街道六十九次之内」には達磨大師が守山宿でそばに舌鼓をうつ様子が描かれています。 江戸時代の旅人も在りし日の「堅田屋」でお蕎麦を楽しんでいたかもしれません。
