I've been hoping to have a pasta lunch ever since I went there for a company event 7-8 years ago, and finally, I'm back. Surprisingly, about 80% of the seats are filled on a weekday lunchtime, and I'm seated at the counter. I glance at the menu and see what's on offer for today. Ah, 'Whitebait and Bamboo Shoot Peperoncino', is that it?! Depending on the menu, I was thinking of going for curry or Hamburg, but the seasonal pasta menu was perfect, so I ordered without hesitation. Soon the seasonal soup arrived, made with spring cabbage, and was a very delicious soup with a slight sweetness that made the most of the ingredients. I drank it all up in no time. The pasta arrived in just over 10 minutes, and it was clearly full of whitebait and large bamboo shoots, so this was a great choice! I started eating. Slurp, slurp, it's so delicious! I feel like it needs a little more punch, but should I get some Tabasco? No?! I'll eat this as is, taking advantage of the saltiness of the whitebait. I've probably never eaten a pasta dish with a combination of whitebait and bamboo shoots before. I finished it in no time, it was so delicious! I wish they would post the menu for today's pasta outside the restaurant, and I'll definitely come back next time. Thank you for the delicious seasonal pasta and soup!
