A Richly Flavorful Experience
The atmosphere created by the semi-private teppan tables is truly unique. Suddenly, an Osaka dialect-speaking lady appears, bringing a touch of cross-cultural communication. And the service spirit shi...nes through with Osaka's famous okonomiyaki. At "Okalu" in Sennichimae, they surprise you by drawing "characters" on top of the freshly cooked okonomiyaki using mayonnaise, a delightful twist that would impress even the mascots at a certain national theme park. Interestingly, the previous owner pioneered the use of stainless steel spatulas, ordering them from a hardware store in Dōguya-suji (previously, they used aluminum), establishing the method of pressing and steaming that made okonomiyaki a beloved dish in this culinary kingdom.
