I arrived at Saku Plaza 21 at 5:30 PM.
This place serves as both a health center and a business hotel, where you can stay overnight!
It's fantastic!
This is more than enough.
Even though I just relaxed in the hot springs at Takamine Kogen,
I took another soak and enjoyed the sauna.
Now, it's time for a drink!
I found a nice izakaya right next door to the hotel, so there was no hesitation in deciding where to go.
It looks like they have a good selection of Japanese sake.
The inside is spacious and clean, and it's great that there is a counter.
Oh, so the ordering is done through a QR code?
Not too fond of that.
I settled on 【Draft Beer】【Shinshu Salmon Sashimi】【Miso Grilled Shinshu Pork】!
It might be a bit pricey.
Oh! The appetizer allows you to choose from four options for charcoal grilling!
I was tempted by the satsuma-age, but decided on grilled squid instead.
Grilling it with a drizzle of soy sauce really brings out the flavor.
Ahhh, the draft beer hits the spot!
The salmon and pork are both delicious!
Though, the portion feels a bit small.
Now, shall I go for some sake?
Hmm...
They have a lot of local sake and many varieties from Shinshu, but it's not good that none of the brands are displayed in the restaurant.
If there aren’t any, then they shouldn’t be displayed at all.
I saw names like Shinsyu Keirei, Dai Shinsyu, and Mikotsuru among others.
And for some reason, there’s an enormous serving of nozawana!
