Born in Nobeoka in 1970, I have admired chefs since childhood and majored in culinary arts in high school. After graduating, I trained in French and Italian cuisine. After moving to Tokyo, I continued my training at places like "Ristrante YAMAZAKI," while also reaffirming the wonderful aspects of Nobeoka that are not found in Tokyo. At the age of 27, I returned to my hometown, distancing myself from cooking to gather funds, while spending my days off diving in the sea and rivers, and exploring the deep charms of Nobeoka. In 1997, I opened a trattoria and relocated to my current location in 2015.
