30年ぶりくらいにうかがいました。が、当時と少しも変わらない風情になんだかとても癒されました。嵐山の町には観光客がかなり戻ってきて賑わっている中、こちらのお店は通りから一歩中に入り込んでいるせいか、とても静寂で落ち着きます。 お店はコロナの関係で夜の営業がなく、16時半までになっていました。 仲居さんも店主さんもとても暖かな対応をしてくださり、満足して帰りました。 ごちそうさまでした。Find out more

SpaceSukiya-zukuri style of pure Japanese architecture by Togo Murano
This is the main building of Yudofu Sagano, a work by Togo Murano, a modernist architect who designed Kyoto Hotel Kasuien and other hotels. It was originally built in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, but was moved to Arashiyama after the war. Please enjoy boiled tofu made with Saga tofu in that building.
