四条通から花見小路通を南へ行った所にあります。この通りは両側に古い日本家屋が並んでいます。
大正2年建築の風情ある建物の中へ入ると玄関口で履き物を脱いで二階へと案内されました。
古い待合を買い取ったものだそうで家の中の造りも随分と凝っていて楽しめます。玄関と二階は買い取った時のままらしいです。京町家の風情をすごく感じます。
私は陶器にはあまり詳しくないので詳しくはわかりませんが、料理の器には日本の銘品やオールドバカラなど高価な品を使用されています。
今回は夏の味覚ハモを味わおうとハモ尽くし膳（税込7150円）を選択しました。そしてビール（税込1100円）を注文。
出されたものは次の通りです。
ハモの南蛮漬け ちょっと酸っぱい
青梅のゼリー寄せ さわやかな味で美味しい
ハモの湯引き まずまずの味。ハモの湯引きは冷たくしたほうが美味しいと思うが、冷たくなか

につけて食べると結構いける。
ハモ鍋 ハモと水菜、たまねぎ等を一緒の鍋で煮ている。まずまずの味。
ハモと野菜の天ぷら ハモと大葉を一緒に天ぷらにしている。そのほかししとう、ミニトマト、
たまねぎをそれぞれ天ぷらにしたもの。ハモは美味しかった。

夏を迎え、一度は食べておきたいハモを多彩な料理で食べられて良かったが、もう少ししゃきっとしたハモを食べたかったというところです。
