The Taisho retro wooden building and the red lanterns serve as landmarks, attracting customers who seek to enjoy eel flavored with a sauce that has been carefully preserved and added to since the shop's founding. With a commitment to eel that has been passed down and honed over the years—three years of skewering, eight years of filleting, and a lifetime of grilling—customers can enjoy eel here that cannot be tasted anywhere else.
Food "The Famous 'Kinshi Don' with a Large Eye-Catching Omelette."
Our Kinshi-don features Edo-style eel and flat Kyoto-style dashi-maki tamago (rolled omelette) covering rice coated in sauce. The eel is grilled to a fluffy texture in the Kanto style, thanks to the skilled techniques of our artisans. By enveloping the eel with a generous portion of egg, you can enjoy the rich flavor of the eel while savoring a moist texture. We invite you to experience the luxurious taste of the harmonious combination of tamagoyaki, eel, and rice coated in sauce.
Food "Luxurious Unagi Experience: 'Shokado Bento'"
We offer a luxurious "set meal" where you can fully enjoy eel. Our recommendation is the "Matsukado Set Meal," which features our specialty dishes such as "grilled eel" carefully prepared by removing excess fat and grilled over binchotan charcoal, as well as uzaku and liver soup. For gatherings and parties, we also have "eel kaiseki" available, and we can discuss kaiseki courses according to your budget. Create memorable dining experiences with us.

The first floor has table seating, while the second floor features tatami rooms. You can choose between table seating and tatami rooms depending on the occasion. In the spacious and retro atmosphere of the tatami rooms on the second floor, you can relax and enjoy traditional flavors. Additionally, our establishment hosts the "Kaneyo Yosai" event twice a month. Please also pay attention to the rakugo performances born from our desire to keep the light of the Yosai alive in Kyogoku and the wishes of the late second-generation master, Katsura Umenosuke.
