Authentic California Burritos await you here!! The Taco Rice is also a must-try!!
Authentic burritos inspired by California food truck recipes! Experience the generous portions and spiciness that will leave you fully satisfied. We also offer vegetarian and Jain-friendly options. |
If you're looking to enjoy a hearty burrito packed with meat, vegetables, and a variety of ingredients, this is the place to go!
Recently, I've been seeing a lot of Mexican cuisine like burritos and tacos on social media, which made me crave them. While searching for a restaurant, I remembered that an acquaintance had visited this place and I thought I’d give it a try.
The restaurant is located about a 7-minute walk from Hanshin Main Line "Kobe Sannomiya Station," an 8-minute walk from JR Kobe Line "Sannomiya Station," and an 11-minute walk from Hankyu Kobe Main Line "Kobe Sannomiya Station," heading east from the stations.
Nearby, there's a retro-style restaurant called "DORSIA" that I've visited a few times, where I've enjoyed their toast breakfast and pudding.
The restaurant has table seating at the front, allowing for dining in addition to takeout.
Upon entering, I was greeted by the staff with a warm welcome, and they provided a thorough explanation of the menu.
Inside, there are counter seats and tables in the back. Various spicy sauces, including habanero sauce, are available on the counter for flavor customization.
Water is self-service.
Looking at the menu, it seems that tortilla chips come as a side dish, with a choice of garlic mayonnaise or lemon sour cream as dipping sauces.
It's great that they accommodate different nationalities, ages, and dietary restrictions like vegetarian and vegan options. I noticed a diverse range of customers from various countries.
The burritos feature beef, chicken, pork, and shrimp, along with a generous amount of various vegetables. You can choose from four sizes: half, small, regular, and big. After checking the samples, I decided to go for the big size.
Since I went with a friend, we chose two different burritos to share. One was the Avocado Shrimp Sour Cream Burrito, and the other was the staff-recommended Rich Taste Pork Burrito. We also ordered cheese as an extra topping.
The Rich Taste Pork Burrito includes pork with teriyaki sauce, lettuce, fresh tomatoes, corn, beans, and mustard, all combined with cheese. Holding it in my hands, I could immediately tell it was very filling.
The soft tortilla had a delightful aroma, and the crunchy texture of the lettuce and corn, along with the generous chunks of pork, made it a flavorful experience. Adding the cheese made it even more delicious!
The Avocado Shrimp Sour Cream Burrito was filled with shrimp, beef sauce, cheese, avocado, beans, sour cream, lemon sour cream, fresh tomatoes, corn, and lettuce, making it equally packed with ingredients. Surprisingly, it also contained grilled chicken.
With the juicy grilled chicken, fresh vegetables, and plump shrimp, I enjoyed a variety of flavors.
They have about 20 different types of burritos, and I noticed several others that caught my interest, so I’ll definitely be back!
What I ordered:
- Rich Taste Pork Burrito (BIG size) JPY 2,400
- Avocado Shrimp Sour Cream Burrito (BIG size) JPY 2,650
