名古屋を代表する串揚げのお店の一つである「創作串揚げ つだ」さんが今宵のディナー。
三大◯◯好きとして名古屋三大串揚げ店を挙げると、異論はあるだろうが、つだ、じだいや、神戸亭あたりだと思う。何故か泉周辺に集中してる。
店内はL字カウンター12席とテーブル2卓。カウンター席に着いたが間隔が狭くて窮屈、2つくらい間引いて楽に座れるようにして欲しいところ。
オーダーはコースがあるお店ではお馴染みのストップするまで次々に出て来る「おまかせコース」。他にお茶漬けとデザートがセットになった12本、18本の2コースがある。
スタートは車海老から。細かいパン粉を使用した衣はさっくりふわっと軽い口当たりで旨い。上質な素材、組み合わせの妙、揚げ加減どれをとってもすばらしく更に旨い!
1串100円程度の串カツも手軽でいいけど、こんな美味しいものと比べるとやっぱり、、、
全30種類程度を制覇するつもりで臨んだものの軽いといってもやはり揚げもの、12本くらいで腹八分ならぬ腹十分、根性で食べ進めるも19本で戦意喪失。ラスト、デザート代わりの桜餅串で試合終了。
それはそうと焼酎の水割りがやけに薄く感じ、グラス2杯飲んだものの全く変化なし。酒に強くなったのか?
