浜松駅北口から徒歩15分以内。遠州鉄道第一通り駅からは西方面に徒歩5分以内にあります。第一通り駅から見て、有楽街という繁華街に出る手前の路地を入る必要があるので、初めて行かれる方は少し迷ってしまうかも。第一通り駅側から向かった場合、ハートランドというお店を過ぎて次の路地を右折、まっすぐ行くと左手にあります。
【総評】
浜松でいちばんお魚を美味しく食べさせてくれるお店だと思います。直接港から仕入れ、某所にある大きな水槽できちんと管理(泥を吐かせたり)された活きのいいお魚が食べられます。刺身のみならず煮・焼・ムニエルなど調理方法も鮮度やお客さんのリクエストに応えて作ってくれます。
またお魚だけではなく、地元産地直送の野菜も美味しくいただけます。ここの蒸し野菜は絶品です。結構変わった野菜も置いてあったりするので、メニューを見ながら「これってどの食べ方が美味しいんですか?」と聞いたりできます(調理法が複数ある場合アリ)。スタッフは気さくな方ばかりなので、遠慮せず声をかけるとオトクです。
お酒に関しては、「磯自慢」などの静岡の地酒や、「楯野川(山形)」「醸し人九平次(愛知)」など産地にこだわらず大将が美味しいと思ったお酒を揃えてあります。ワインもあり、もちろんコダワリの焼酎もあります(自分は焼酎があまり得意ではないのであまり詳しくはないのですが)。日本酒に関して言えば、値段だけ見ればコスパは少し低めに感じますが、実際の量は2合近くありますし(枡コップ)、レアものがあったり本当に美味しいお酒に出会えたりするため、むしろ日本酒好きにとっては天国のようなお店です。最近はメニューにしっかり値段も表記されていますので、懐具合に合ったお酒を楽しめると思います(800円~2500円くらいまで幅があります。メニューに表記されていないお酒の場合、お値段を聞けば教えてくれます)。普通に飲んでいれば2〜3種類でかなり良い酔い具合になれるかと思います。
いろんなお魚や野菜を、食べ方を相談しながら楽しむ。そんな使い方が良いお店だと思います。
※なお、カウンターの一番奥の席に座った場合、携帯の電波が入りづらい時があります。DoCoMoでもたまにそうなので、ソフトバンクなどはいわんや・・・。

【2015.12.30】久々の更新です。年末の最終日に訪問してきました。最近はなかなか顔を出せず、当日も予約で一杯だったのですが、先に予約を入れていた私の友人達が「わざわざ遠くから来るのだから」と早めに席を空けてくれ、おかげ様でゆっくり大将のお料理を堪能することが出来ました。「特別な時」に出てくるお鮨(通常のメニューにはないので、オーダーは出来ません)もかなりグレードアップしていて、「大トロ」「時知らず」「クエ」と豪華な顔ぶれでした。お酒も良いところを揃えてくださっていて、「醸し人九平次・human」「作・中取り雅の智」「而今・雄町火入れ」などを楽しみました(写真は後日)。2015年最後に良い思い出が出来ました。
【2012.10.28】評価を変更しました。CP4.0→4.5、酒・ドリンク4.5→5.0。燗酒充実!大将の隠し酒も絶品多数!です。
【2010.09.11】写真追加しました!&並び替えをしました。今後は、そのお料理を食べた(撮った)月を名前の後ろに表記します。ここのお店はグランドメニュー以外にも旬のお料理を提供してくださるため、万が一自分の食べログを参考にしてご訪問いただいた場合、「その料理ないじゃん!」てことになりかねないので。場合によって「一期一会」的なお料理もあるため、もし写真を見てどうしても食べたいメニューがあった場合、予約時に電話でご確認いただくと良いかと思われます。並び替えに関しては、「お料理の写真を先に」「お酒の写真を後に」という順番にします。自分が見やすい(投稿しやすい)ゆえ。
【2010.06.05】
超レアもの日本酒、初亀「純米大吟醸・滝上」があるというので、急遽行ってきました。もともとがレアな滝上秀三のさらに限定品!17本だけの出荷だそうです。華やかな香り立ちはそのままに、極上の飲み口、果実みたいな甘い味わいを堪能しました。残念ながらもう手にはいることは無いかもしれません・・・。
料理長オススメの「川鱒寿司」をいただきました。こちらもメニューにはないお品だったのですが、とろけるような美味しさでした。
