以前何度か訪問したことがあるのですが、いつも接待でお座敷だったので、カウンターでの食事は今回が初めてです。
南海本線貝塚駅より数分のところです。2人で伺いました。カウンターは檜の一枚板で8~10人は座れそうな立派なものです。
最初はやはりビールで乾杯です。ゆったりした雰囲気で食事ができます。ご主人の母上がカウンター越しに接待してくれます。
先付が出ました。宝袋の器に入っていたのは蟹、帆立、山芋ソーメンでした。
次にお椀が出ました。卵しんじょうと蛤です。真丈はやや硬めのものでふわっとした感じはありません。蛤の出汁が出ていて美味しいです。
この辺りで冷酒に変えます。お刺身は赤貝、とろ、鯛、烏賊です。特に赤貝が絶品でした。とろも脂の乗りが丁度良く美味しいです。
次は箸休めの稲荷ずしです。薄味で上品なお稲荷さんです。
後の八寸は甘エビや蒸し鮑など酒の肴が満載です。
そのあと天麩羅(白魚、春野菜)、熊本牛のステーキ、まながつおと牡蠣の焼き物などが出て食事になります。
食事はからすみの出汁茶漬けでした。
お料理全般的には少し満足度が足りない感じでした。美味しいのですが、いつも伺う「本湖月」や「青木」や「桝田」などと比較するからかもしれません。
